Our operators can offer you any of the standard routes on Kilimanjaro or even combinations of different routes to make your experience more enjoyable. It is also possible to make alterations to the standard route plan, such as adding an additional day or two to increase acclimatisation time for added comfort.  In particular, should any members of your party be departing to Kilimanjaro following an extended stay at or near sea level, we encourage you to consider adding at least one additional day to the Standard Route plan, thereby making it a minimum of a 6 night / 7 day experience. This will contribute substantially to the acclimatisation of the group and hence, the success and safety of all tour members.

When planning your expedition to Kilimanjaro, the experience on the mountain can be significantly influenced by the chosen date of departure. Whilst traveling during the Low Season, bad weather conditions might make for a more difficult climb, but you will find fewer people on the mountain. Conversely, when traveling during peak season, while the anticipated weather will be much better, you will encounter more people on the mountain. For many people, the number of fellow travellers they are likely to meet along the way is an important consideration. Ultimately, the experience you are looking for will depend largely on your chosen departure date.  If you are not sure when or on which route you would like to go, we will gladly assist you with this important starting point.

Remember that peak seasons will require an earlier booking due to the numbers of people.

Prior to making any payment for your adventure, we would need to confirm availability for your required package and group size. Once this is in place, we will let you know and you will be requested to confirm your booking with us.

In order to confirm your booking, we require payment of a 50% non-refundable deposit on the land arrangement cost in addition to full prepayment for the relevant air tickets.

Proof of payment should accompany a signed Booking Form by each member of the party. A copy of the Booking Form will be sent to you upon request.

The final package price for the group will be calculated using the prevailing exchange rate on the day of the final payment received from the last group member.

Using this amount and deducting the initial deposit received, we will arrive at a balance which is payable in full, 8 weeks prior to departure. Tribe Safari reserves the right to amend the final package price subject to exchange rate fluctuations or other components such as flight prices.
